1999 civic sir wont start when its cold out over night?
I just got an engine swap for my civic because my last engine had a huge oil leak from the head gasket. The engine was supplied by Honda and it has approx 80k km on it. When I leave the car outside my house overnight the car does not want to start in the morning (it will start, but it takes many attempts and I am scared of flooding my engine). The engine was imported from Japan (I believe) but I also think it was sitting here in Calgary before I put it in. I got a professional mechanic to install it for me, and he thinks the problem may be that it has not adjusted to Canadian weather and I may need to change a censor or that it could possibly be a sparkplug. If I plug the car in overnight it starts with no problems at all. Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions as to what it may be.
